This minimalist loft with a private terrace exemplifies the synergy between raw architectural structure and emotional warmth. The project reimagines a compact living space through the lens of functional minimalist interior design: with exposed concrete, matte finishes, and a restrained, nature-inspired palette. Accents of terracotta and custom-crafted furniture introduce a soft contrast, bringing depth and individuality to the space. Every line, surface, and proportion has been thoughtfully refined to create a seamless dialogue between beauty and function.
The layout is clearly divided into public and private zones. The social core: an open-plan kitchen and living room is anchored by a monolithic central island that doubles as a gathering point. The secluded master suite offers visual calm and privacy.
Designed with long-term rental adaptability in mind, the loft avoids rigid aesthetics in favor of a flexible architectural canvas: one that can evolve with its future resident.
Design strategy
We inherited raw surfaces such as reinforced concrete columns, ceilings, and brick walls. These materials became the foundation of the interior aesthetic. Concrete was polished and sealed with matte lacquer, while brick was painted in the same shade as the walls to create a seamless yet tactile experience.
The centerpiece of the open-plan kitchen-living room is a monolithic island both a visual anchor and a gathering spot. Storage and appliances are tucked into tall wall units for a clean look. A modular sofa, custom-designed to be enjoyed from all sides, invites both conversation and relaxation.

Master suite and Bathroom
The master suite combines a bedroom and an open-plan bathroom separated by a glass partition — offering both intimacy and access to natural light. Textured concrete materials add depth, while integrated lighting softens the raw finishes.
